This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team.

The Housing Officers have a generic job description, this vacancy is initially within the South Tenancy Management teamas a tenancy focussed Housing Officer, a background in this field is desirable.

The Housing Officer post is a vital role undertaking the tenancy management of a patch of dwellings.

The role ensures that tenants keep to their Tenancy Agreements, includingpayment of rent and recovery of rent arrears; ensuring that complaints of anti-social behaviour are dealt with and that the estates are maintained to a satisfactory condition.

The applicant must possess detailed knowledge, experience and understanding of housing management, and have experience in delivering a quality customer service.

The role includes experience of visiting customers intheir homes, interviewing and advising customers, experience of tenancy management and anability to adapt to a changing environment and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
