A community-focused organization is searching for a Housing & Neighbourhood Manager to lead and manage high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood services. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in estate management and a passion for community building. Responsibilities include overseeing tenancy compliance, enhancing community cohesion, and managing a team of officers. Competitive salary of £51,200 annually. Must have a full UK driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK.

At Amplius, we’re looking for a dedicated Housing & Neighbourhood Manager to lead and manage the delivery of high-quality tenancy, housing, and neighbourhood services across our region. In this role, you’ll drive operational performance, maintain outstanding estate standards, and work closely with customers, partners, and colleagues to build sustainable, resilient communities. Salary: £51,200 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time
Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 9am – 5.15pm)
We have two opportunities available for the same role, coveringdifferent locations -
Amplius South Region Based in and around Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, and West Northamptonshire, with one day per week in the Rushden or Milton Keynes office.
Amplius Central Region: Based in and around Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Northamptonshire, with one day per week in the Peterborough or Rushden office.
Lead and manage a team of Housing and Neighbourhood Officers, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
Oversee tenancy management, ensuring compliance with agreements, policies, legislation, and regulatory standards.
Manage complex neighbourhood cases, including tenancy compliance, property condition, and voids, ensuring properties are maintained and re‑let efficiently.
Drive improvements in estate standards, safety, and neighbourhood appearance through inspections, initiatives, and collaboration with internal teams.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, police, community groups, and voluntary sector organisations.
Champion customer engagement, gathering feedback, building trust, and co-producing local initiatives to enhance community cohesion.
Coordinate operations to address hotspot areas and emerging neighbourhood issues.
Ensure accurate case management, audits, and reporting in line with GDPR, data‑sharing protocols, and organisational policies.
Act as the regional lead for estate and neighbourhood issues, providing senior management with timely reports and insights.
CIH Level 4 (achieved, working towards, or willing to undertake.)
Extensive experience in estate and neighbourhood management.
Knowledge of Housing and Tenancy Law and current regulatory requirements.
Proven team leadership and direct line management experience.
Ability to build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Proficient in housing management systems and able to drive service improvements.
Willingness to travel across a large geographical area as required.
Commitment to delivering high‑quality services and acting as a positive representative of Amplius.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
DBS clearance is required for this role.
