Join us as a Housing Manager at Home Group, in our awesome housing team in the South East covering our East Sussex Patch. You'll be our face‑to‑face customer support to our estates, ensuring we provide safe homes and communities where people choose to live, while also ensuring our income is maximised. You'll provide first‑class customer service, delivering our customer promise every day! This is a great time to join as one of the estates has been identified as a Priority Estate with exciting Community Development work taking place.
What you'll do
- Engage with customers and be proactive on our estates, really getting to know our communities
- Take care of a number of patches and neighbourhoods
- Manage anti‑social behaviours in our estates, responding to customer queries and complaints
- Manage our voids process, including liaising with local authorities
- Carry out estate inspections, engage and meet with contractors on site, and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities

Requirements
- Experience in the housing sector and an understanding of housing management, housing law, and ideally universal credit
- Willingness to work towards, or possession of, Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3
- Super‑organised, methodical, and a proactive self‑starter with a “can do” positive attitude
- Resilience to handle complaints and challenging situations
- Confidence working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities and MPs
- Hybrid role: spend 2‑3 days working from community patches across sites in Wealden, Uckfield and Eastbourne, with time working from home on admin
- Weekly work Monday to Friday with occasional evenings; ability to shape your own diary
- Vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid by company
- Standard DBS check required and paid for by the company
