Job summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver DFGs, Council Adaptations, and other financial assistance schemes.
  • Conduct property inspections and assessments under the approved assessor scheme.
  • Process applications, price works, and carry out means testing in line with legislation.
  • Provide technical support and contribute to departmental performance targets.
  • Interpret and enforce housing and environmental legislation, referring complex cases as needed.
  • Lead and support training sessions, awareness campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Issue notices and licences, and assist in legal case preparation and tribunal attendance.
  • Review and comment on Planning/Building Regulations applications.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports and correspondence.
  • Attend meetings and undertake other duties as required.
Details

Contract length: 3 months (extendable depending on performance)

Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week

Working arrangements: Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days WFH)

Rates: £43 - 48 per hour - Umbrella.

Start date: TBC
