You will assist with rent and housing benefit administration, utilities, and property compliance to help provide safe, well-maintained housing.

Our fantastic property team here at TRFS are looking for a Housing & Estates Assistant to join them in providing a high-quality housing and estates service across our properties throughout Scotland.

The role:

Working alongside the Housing & Estates Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day management of our residential and office accommodation. This is a varied role covering housing management, rent and housing benefit administration, utilities, property compliance and general estates support. Most importantly, you'll help ensure that the people who use our services have access to good-quality, safe and well-maintained accommodation that supports them to live full and inclusive lives.

To be part of our team, we'll need you to have:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A broad understanding of Scottish housing legislation and awareness of Housing Benefit legislation
  • Experience of customer engagement
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others and on your own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation
