Job summary

Bond Turner in Liverpool seeks a Housing Disrepair Solicitor / Fee Earner to manage pre- and post-litigation housing disrepair claims with strong advocacy and client care. The role supports collaboration with Counsel, drafting interlocutory applications and advancing cases toward settlement.

The ideal candidate will have housing disrepair experience and an ability to work toward targets while delivering high-quality, strategic legal advice.

Qualifications

• Previous housing disrepair experience is essential.
• Experience handling pre- and post-litigation housing disrepair matters.
• Experience in Personal Injury would be beneficial but not imperative.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of housing disrepair claims (pre- and post-litigation).
• Dealing with and drafting various interlocutory applications.
• Liaising with Counsel and providing coherent instructions when necessary.
• Complete autonomy from instruction through to settlement.
• Dealing with complex cases.
• Dealing with small claims, fast and multitrack cases.

We are currently recruiting for a Housing Disrepair Solicitor / Fee Earner who will be based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

We are currently looking for applications from candidates who have claimant or defendant experience or Fee Earners / Paralegals who have a good track record of handling a caseload of pre and post litigated housing disrepair matters. Experience of Personal Injury would be beneficial albeit not imperative.

About You:

Previous housing disrepair experience is essential

Target driven whilst maintaining exceptional client care

Confident when working to targets

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills

Excellent knowledge of the CPR and Housing Conditions case law.

Ability to provide a high level of client care.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively, as part of a team and using ones own initiative.
