Job summary

Lancaster City Council is seeking a Housing Technician to improve private rented housing quality and safety across the district. You will inspect properties, manage caseloads and enforce housing regulations through notices and court representation.

This temporary, 24-month role requires a relevant degree or professional housing experience, sound knowledge of housing legislation, and strong negotiation skills. A full UK driving licence is also required to support community engagement.
