A leading social enterprise is seeking a dedicated professional to engage with residents in Hull and East Yorkshire, promoting independent living and ensuring a supportive environment. Key responsibilities include advising on service charges, managing anti-social behaviours, and facilitating financial support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in dealing with challenging situations. A driving license is essential for this role. You will take an active role to engage with residents to promote safe and secure independent living, ensuring an engaging vibrant environment to reduce isolation. You will provide advice on rent and service charges, assist with benefits claims, and support customers with their financial needs. You will work with the internal Places for People income recovery team to reduce rent arrears.
Travel within the Hull area is required as this role will be covering three schemes.
This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
You will possess good computer skills with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to build great relationships with customers and colleagues, are required. You should have good 'team player' attributes, but also be able to work effectively using your own initiative; lone working may be required. You will also have an awareness of health and safety.
The ideal applicant will have experience of managing anti‑social behaviour and challenging situations.
A driving licence and own car for business use is essential for this role.
