Job summary

Hestia in London’s Aldgate area is seeking a Property Procurement Officer to join our Homelessness Service. You will source safe, affordable housing, negotiate with landlords and partners, and help vulnerable individuals access stable accommodation.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, coordinating tenancy management, letting, and procurement activities while upholding our commitments to equality and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or training in housing law, tenancy management, or homelessness prevention.
• Strong understanding of the UK housing market, particularly private rented sector.
• Experience letting, property procurement, or tenancy management.
• Skilled in negotiating tenancy agreements and building partnerships.
• Track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate tenancy agreements with landlords, letting agents, and stakeholders.
• Source affordable housing for clients and manage procurement processes.
• Manage records, identify housing risks, and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with teams to support vulnerable individuals at risk of homelessness.
