Job summary

The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor (Maternity Cover) to lead the Estates & Facilities soft services at the hospital. You will manage and support housekeeping, portering, security and catering teams during out-of-hours periods, coordinating with the clinical site operations team to meet requests.

With a focus on high standards of cleanliness and safety, you will require healthcare experience, supervisory experience, and relevant qualifications including

Qualifications

• GCSEs and higher education qualifications.
• Cleaning qualification such as NVQ/BICS is desirable.
• IOSH Working Safely or equivalent safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver Soft Facilities services out of hours.
• Supervise and support housekeeping, portering, security and catering teams.
• Coordinate with clinical site operational team to fulfil requests.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness meet national standards.
