Job summary

Sanctuary Care at Birchwood Residential Care Home in Ilford is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and motivate the team, ensuring a consistently clean and welcoming environment for residents. You will support and train assistants, uphold infection control standards, and collaborate with staff to promote residents’ wellbeing.

Experience in residential housekeeping, strong communication, and a caring attitude toward older people are essential.

• Experience providing housekeeping services, ideally in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of infection control and safe cleaning practices.
• Clear communication skills and a flexible, positive approach.
• A caring, enthusiastic nature with a genuine respect for older people.
