Atlas Hotels is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor right now at the Holiday Inn Express Inverness

We’re looking for a reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to work 5 days over 7. Two days will involve covering for the Head Housekeeper, and will involve room allocations, inspections, and admin. The other three days will focus on room cleaning to a self-checking standard, with supervisor pay maintained. You’ll also support team morale and uphold leadership responsibilities throughout.

So what does a Housekeeping Supervisor do?
  • Deliver a great guest experience through providing a high standard of cleaning throughout the hotel.
  • Deliver a great guest experience through ensuring the housekeeping operation/team runs smoothly and effectively.
  • Monitor and supervise the work of Housekeeping Assistants as and when required, in absence of the Head Housekeeper.
  • Communicate the daily tasks and priorities to Housekeeping Assistants at the request of the Head Housekeeper and in line with Company processes.

  • Be an active and effective team member, working together to achieve hotel goals.
  • Monitoring any issues with rooms to other members of the team (e.g. Maintenance) as soon as possible.
  • Ensuring Housekeeping Assistants receive full training for their roles and managing any issues through coaching and performance management.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and Atlas standards in both public and private areas, taking pride in the hotel and its team.
  • Effectively manage complaints using our ‘service recovery’ principles.
