Job summary

Medirest is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure smooth operations in Healthcare on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) in Dartford. You will lead day-to-day cleaning activities and coordinate with the client to deliver top service.

You will manage a team, ensure Health & Safety compliance, control stock and budgets, and drive training to meet KPI targets. Compass Group UK&I supports career progression and values every team member.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare cleaning or facilities management.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including COSHH.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• IT literacy with ability to generate basic reports.
• Willingness to train and lead a team.
• Able to work flexibly to meet business needs and attend meetings.

Responsibilities

• To be the regular day-to-day client contact and maintain basic reports
• To ensure 5 star cleaning standards are delivered every day
• To manage stock control of all items within the remit of the role (linen and consumables)
• To train and develop the team in all tasks
• To promote a safety culture and ensure the team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times
• To ensure the delivery and quality of the operation are in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures as well as KPI's
• Recruit, train and develop the team to ensure they have the required skills to do their jobs safely and well whilst ensuring the team is engaged and managed effectively to achieve their performance targets.
• To manage the labour, equipment & resources budget
