What you’ll do
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping department with a focus on VIP room inspections and preparation.
  • Conduct daily room inspections, with a special emphasis on VIP accommodations, ensuring adherence to quality and brand standards.
  • Supervise and support housekeeping staff, monitoring individual performance and providing regular coaching to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Deliver training to line‑level staff and porters on health and safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and departmental processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Deputy Executive Housekeeper, reporting directly and executing daily assignments and tasks as directed.
  • Utilise strong administrative and organisational skills to manage schedules, maintain records, and support operational efficiency.
  • Your leadership and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction and team performance.

The operational hours of work are shift‑based and may be subject to change. Currently they are set as: Monday to Sunday, starting as early as 7.30 am and ending at 23.00 pm for the evening floor housekeeper shift.

What you’ll bring
  • Experience in housekeeping: worked in a housekeeping supervisor role in a hotel.
  • Office coordinator or administrative experience: scheduling, reporting, communication and team coordination.
  • Attention to detail: noticeable small details, e.g. if a room is not cleaned properly.
  • Team leadership: experience helping or leading a team to do their tasks well.
  • Time management: can manage time to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Energetic: comfortable with tasks such as standing, bending and lifting light items.
  • Customer service: friendly and respectful when speaking to guests and other team members.
  • Preferred skills: experience in a luxury hotel; problem solving; basic IT skills; health and safety awareness.
