Location & Salary

Location: Thorpe Forest (Norfolk)

Salary: £12.51 per hour

Working Hours: Part‑time, 12.5 hours per week.

Days of Work: Monday and Friday, 9:15am to 4pm.

About the Housekeeping Supervisor Role

The cabins at Delamere are tucked away in the largest woodland area in Cheshire. A peaceful escape under starry skies, surrounded by nature and designed to help guests unwind, recharge, and reconnect. As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Open all year round, you’ll oversee a set number of cabins on each changeover day, guiding and supporting the housekeeping team to maintain our high brand standards of cleanliness and presentation. You’ll lead by example, motivating your team, ensuring every cabin is spotless, and helping create that unforgettable Forest Feeling that keeps guests returning time after time.

Responsibilities
  • Providing support and motivation to the Housekeeping Team to ensure high morale and productivity
  • Delivering training to ensure all team members meet our brand standards
  • Ensuring each cabin is correctly stocked and beautifully presented
  • Conducting health and safety checks, such as smoke alarm and fire extinguisher inspections
  • Monitoring and maintaining quality standards across all cabins
  • Assisting with daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient changeovers
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role (essential)
  • Experience leading or supervising a team
  • A positive, can‑do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards
  • Motivation to work outdoors in a forest environment, rain or shine
  • A passion for hospitality and the great outdoors

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17
  • 16 years: £7.55 per hour
  • 17 years: £10.00 per hour
