Housekeeping Services Assistant

We currently have a permanent part-time housekeeping vacancy at Tenbury Community Hospital working 16 hours over 4 days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays 13.00-17.00 and Saturdays and Sundays 8.00-13.00).

We have supportive and passionate teams, and you will receive full training to ensure you can succeed in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment, working alongside our clinical and other non-clinical colleagues to make a positive contribution to our patients and staff experience through the provision of a Housekeeping service.

Main duties of the job

Working alongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams ensure the cleanliness of the Trust's estate in accordance with national standards and the Trust's strategic cleaning plan.

You will be responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive and professional cleaning service, to meet NHS standard of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties in accordance with schedules and procedures and will work within local community hospitals/other inpatient settings/health centres/clinics and administration areas.

Salary: £24,465 a year pro rata (£12.51 per hour)
