Qualifications

  • Previous relevant experience in housekeeping is essential.
  • Ability to supervise a team and manage a housekeeping budget.
  • Understanding of COSHH Regulations.

Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. We are looking to recruit the right people to join us and provide the best possible care to our residents, offering support, maintaining dignity and assisting them to enjoy every day living in our Homes.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the housekeeping operation in the home including supervising the team of housekeepers to ensure our home provides a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Working as part of an integrated care team, you'll help create caring environment, where our resident's dignity is never compromised and their independence is encouraged.
  • To ensure compliance with COSHH Regulations. Maintain company COSHH manuals
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, in accordance with the guidelines on the use of cleaning materials and equipment
  • To organise & participate in staff meetings, training and development and staff reviews
  • To manage the house keeping budget and produce bi‑monthly stock takes. Agree action to be taken in the event of an overspend
  • To supervise and/or undertake basic housekeeping tasks throughout the home, including laundry. Monitor all areas to ensure they are kept in a hygienic condition

Previous relevant experience together with excellent multitasking and communication skills, are essential.
