  • Reporting to our Executive Housekeeping Manager, you'll assist and supervise your own mighty team of Housekeeping Attendants
  • Supervising and managing the day to day Housekeeping team operation, making sure this runs without a hitch, delegating tasks to Supervisors Public Area Attendants, Housekeeping Attendants and House Porter
  • Attending and proactively participating in daily and monthly departmental meetings, you'll have an important role in the set up and service of the Townhouse, maintaining and continually improving our standards and the quality of our service, consistently exceeding our guest expectations
  • Ensuring operating costs are managed effectively, you'll have responsibility for stock take completion and stock ordering, always ensuring the most organised and efficient methods
  • Supporting the recruitment, departmental induction, training, supervision and monitoring of our team, including performance reviews, handovers, daily briefings and reports
  • Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all guest requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively and professionally.
  • You'll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky‑high standards are maintained; you'll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for
  • You have strong previous experience within a similar role, ideally within the Hospitality industry, with an outstanding customer service track record
  • Highly organised, punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule, you're approachable, helpful and self‑motivated
  • Your IT skills are strong and you're proficient in use of Microsoft word, Opera and Alice
  • A high performer that's always looking for a better way to do things; you're adept at managing complex situations, invariably able to multi‑task throughout the day
  • You genuinely care about people, you're compassionate, and a very natural relationship builder; collaborating with others comes naturally to you, you know that it's the sum of the parts that will reap the greatest reward
  • Ready for doing things differently, you're comfortable working in an environment where things move quickly, where hands on approach and a can‑do attitude is key
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
