Job summary

Croft House Care Home, Great Dunmow, is seeking a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to help keep resident areas clean and welcoming. You will help maintain cleanliness across communal spaces and bedrooms, contributing to a friendly home atmosphere.

You’ll work with the housekeeping team to manage stock and liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor. The role offers flexible bank hours and is paid £12.75–£13.75 per hour, with experience rewarded in line with UK care sector norms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and uphold the hygiene of communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
