Bupa Stamford Care Home in London is seeking a part-time Bank Housekeeping Assistant. Shifts are 8am–2pm, with duties to maintain high cleanliness standards across communal areas and resident rooms. The role supports a person-centred care environment at Stamford.

Benefiting from flexible patterns, fully paid induction, and DBS check; meals provided on shifts and access to gym discounts across the UK. DBS and uniform are supplied by Bupa.

Job Description: Housekeeping Assistant – Bank Location: Bupa Stamford Care Home - 21 Watermill Ln, London N18 1SH

Salary - £12.75 Per Hour

Contract - Bank 8am - 2pm Shifts

About Our Home At Stamford

At Stamford, the team are trained in nursing and residential care, dementia care, palliative, post operative convalescence and respite care. They are also experienced in tailoring support for adults with challenging behaviour, including for younger adults with a physical disability. Advanced bookings are available. Spacious bedrooms and living areas are ideal for residents with a disability, en-suite and decorated to achieve a relaxing atmosphere. There are call systems and TV points in bedrooms which clients are welcome to personalise. There is a real sense of community at Stamford.

Games, reminiscence sessions and trips to the parks are included in a varied activities programme, with the home committed to supporting personal interests.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
• You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
