Job summary

Bupa UK’s Ridley Park care home in Blyth is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant on a bank basis. You will maintain high cleanliness standards in the home, including communal areas and residents' bedrooms, to help create a warm, welcoming environment for all.

Join a team focused on quality, resident comfort and safety. The role offers flexible patterns, a fully paid induction and a DBS check, with DBS and uniform provided, supporting you to contribute to residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high standards of cleanliness in a care home or similar.
• Ability to multitask and stay organised across multiple requests.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work bank shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and communal areas to a high standard.
• Vacuum, mop, polish and ensure upkeep of all spaces.
• Raise any housekeeping issues to the Supervisor as you go.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

• You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident's bedrooms
• You'll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you'll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
