Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities.
  • Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
  • Empty trash and replace garbage bags.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist with Housekeeping duties in public areas.

Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and tidy all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities
  • Vacuum carpets and sweep / mop floors
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms
  • Empty trash and replace garbage bags
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
  • Assist with Housekeeping duties in public areas, e.g. general cleaning of function rooms, ground floor public areas such as lounges, etc.
