Housekeeping Assistant

Location: West Midlands Hospital Halesowen

Hours: 20 hours per work Part-time

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. This is an exciting and important operational support role working across departments to facilitate the efficient and timely required hygiene standards. As an integral and valued member of our housekeeping team you will be required to assist in maintaining the hospital’s outstanding reputation for quality and cleanliness.

You will be responsible for cleaning the ward/ theatre and general areas across both of our sites in Halesowen and will have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and interact with patients and staff whilst providing an excellent support service and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. You should be flexible towards your working pattern as this role does involve mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Experience is not essential as in‑house training will be provided, also covering Health and Safety.
