Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant

£12.85 per hour

Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (including alternate weekends) – 40 hours per week

If you are fed up with working late nights and every weekend, a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant with us could be right for you! We have a vacancy for a Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant who takes real pride in ensuring their work is always completed to our high standards. Working as part of a team, you will maintain the privacy, confidentiality and dignity of each resident and handle their possessions with due care and respect.

Responsibilities
  • Laundering and ironing residents’ clothing, putting it away tidily and ensuring wardrobes and drawers are always clean and neat, and repairing clothing where necessary.
  • Maintaining linen stocks for day‑to‑day use.
  • Ensuring that all areas of our home, including public areas and residents’ rooms, are clean and that our high standards are met at all times.
