We wish to appoint a Housekeeper to join our Team on D Ward. We are an Admission and Day Case Unit within the Division of Specialist Services, and are looking for someone who has a 'can-do' approach, enthusiasm, high standards and understands the importance of a clean, well organised, equipped clinical area.
The post is on a Fixed Term contract to cover Maternity Leave for 11 months. The hours of work are 20 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday ( 08 : 00 - 12 : 00 )

The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative COVID wards.
NHS Employees are required to secure their manager’s agreement for a secondment arrangement prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made. This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as it has been established to provide maternity cover and will end in 11 months or when the substantive postholder returns. Whilst this post is advertised on an acting / secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness on the ward, maintaining stock levels and completing regular stock-take audits, ordering Ward supplies, providing refreshments to post-op patients, daily / weekly checks as per infection control guidelines.
