Housekeeper - Ward 28 (Frailty and FAU)

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a part time Housekeeper to work within our friendly team on Ward 28.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, hard‑working housekeeper who will work as an integral part of the team ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all times.

Main duties of the job

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, work under non‑direct supervision, prioritise workload and respond to changing demands.
• Liaise with and help patients throughout the working day.
• Communicate with all levels of staff face‑to‑face and over telephone.
• Maintain stock levels and participate in the ordering of stock.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the ward.
• Use cleaning duties, chemicals and equipment, with awareness of health and safety.
• Be IT literate.
• Previous experience with stock control is desirable.
