PHS is delighted to present a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced and trustworthy Live-In Part-Time Housekeeper to support a warm and informal household based in Stanford in the Vale. The principals are a kind and easy-going couple who value longevity, discretion and a respectful working relationship. Their current Housekeeper of 12 years is retiring, and the family would very much like to find the right successor for a long-term engagement. The residence is a six-bedroom property arranged over two floors, though only two rooms are used on a daily basis. The remaining rooms require general maintenance and rotational housekeeping to ensure the home remains consistently well presented. The household includes a friendly Labrador who will require a daily walk as part of the routine. This is a permanent part-time position across four working days, totalling approximately 30 hours per week. There are no additional staff employed and no cooking duties required. The principals are hoping to welcome someone who is not only experienced in housekeeping but also warm-natured, flexible and happy to take a hands‑on approach. They particularly value someone who takes quiet pride in their work, is comfortable assisting with occasional ad-hoc household requests, and maintains a pleasant and can‑do attitude towards the smooth running of the home. Accommodation is a charming one‑bedroom cottage located on the grounds, complete with its own kitchen and bathroom. Candidates with well-behaved dogs are welcome. A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly beneficial due to the rural setting. The principals are open to offering formal employment with standard holiday entitlement for the right fit and are hoping to find someone who will enjoy a long‑term placement.
