Job summary

Bupa Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis invites a dedicated housekeeper to maintain residents' facilities and living spaces to the highest standards, ensuring comfort and safety.

You’ll operate cleaning equipment, manage laundry, report hazards, and collaborate with care teams to support a healthy, welcoming environment for residents and staff. This bank contract offers flexible hours with paid breaks and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic cleaning roles.
• Basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards.
• Friendly and approachable with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' care home facilities, public areas and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.
• Operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet shampooers.
• Empty bins regularly and sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors.
• Clean carpets and upholstery; wash woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
• Wash, dry and iron residents' clothing, bedding and communal laundry.
• Report safety hazards to management and ensure Health and Safety standards and COSHH compliance.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment across all areas.
