Job summary

Nuffield Health in Cardiff is seeking a Housekeeper for a permanent part-time role. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas with modern equipment and first-class training.

The post is 30 hours per week with a salary of £25,038 pro rata per annum. You will work closely with Heads of Housekeeping to ensure cleaning does not impact a patient’s experience, while delivering friendly, high-quality customer service and maintaining a safe

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work 30 hours per week.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and preparation of areas to ensure a clean, safe environment for patients.
• Follow cleaning processes to maintain a pleasant, safe location for patients.
• Work with the infection prevention team and report incidents as required.
• Remain friendly, proactive and patient-focused in all tasks.

Keeping our Hospitals cl ean is a big priority for us. We are looking for a Housekeeper who will help us to create a cl ean, safe and pleasant environment for patients by cl eaning and preparing a range of areas, utilising the latest equipment, products and supported by a first- cl ass training programme. You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from room cl eaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cl eaning.

Responsibilities

• Care about our patients so that you can organise your work and plan your time with assistance from our Hea ds of Housekeeping to make sure cl eaning never gets in the way of a patients' experience.
• Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.
• Motivated, friendly and flexible
• Ideally experienced in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cl eaning processes are followed and that the location is cl ean, pleasant and safe for patients.
• Work cl osely with the Infection prevention team, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.
