Job summary

Spark of Genius seeks a caring Housekeeper to join their children’s residential home in Elderslie. You will maintain high cleaning standards, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for the children and staff. This role is 20 hours per week with times to be arranged.

The ideal candidate has housekeeping experience, good communication skills and is flexible, reliable and safety-conscious within a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
• Flexible, organised and reliable.
• Understanding of health & safety in kitchens and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms and shared areas to a high standard.
• Follow routines, policies and infection-control procedures.
• Safely store hazardous materials (COSHH).
• Keep bathrooms stocked and spotless.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Carry out occasional deep cleans when required.
