Job summary

Radio City School is recruiting a Housekeeper to join our support team in Ayrshire. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across our site and support a safe, comfortable environment for pupils.

The role requires experience with daily cleaning schedules, attention to health and safety, and a flexible, proactive approach to respond to requests.

Radio City School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. Radio City School are an independent, specialist school providing education to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and neurodivergent conditions, such as an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and learning disabilities. Our young people have often had negative experiences in school with substantial gaps in their education.

Role

The successful candidate will have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork in completed and a good knowledge of health and safety legislation applicable to the role, along with the following characteristics:

Communication

During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.

Organisation

As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
