Job summary

N Family Club is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our Twickenham West nursery in London. You will maintain a spotless, welcoming environment for children and families, supporting a safe and hygienic space across classrooms and kitchens.

Role requires attention to detail, energy, and a genuine care for early years. Competitive pay and a range of benefits accompany this permanent full-time position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and Health & Safety practices.
• A caring and passionate personality with love for working with children and families.
• Experience handling hazardous materials and using them safely.

Responsibilities

• Work with the nursery team to keep everything sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Help make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents, and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot any broken or faulty equipment and inform management for quick fixes.
• Stay on top of laundry and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
• Water the plants and keep the nursery fresh and bright.
• Use safe cleaning products suitable for a nursery environment, following COSHH.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the nursery team to keep everything sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Help make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents, and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot any broken or faulty equipment and let management know so we can fix it fast.
• Stay on top of laundry and make sure we’re always stocked with the right cleaning supplies.
• Water the plants and keep the nursery feeling fresh and bright.
• Use the right products for a nursery environment, following COSHH guidelines to keep everyone safe.
• Welcome deliveries and make sure everything is kept in the right place.
• Be our hygiene hero – keeping our nursery safe, clean, and shining every day.

Our Housekeepers should have...

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and an understanding of Health & Safety practices.

• Experience of working with hazardous materials and know how to use them safely.
