Busy Bees Nurseries is inviting applications for a Nursery Housekeeper role at our Gorebridge site. You will support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our Busy Bees nursery, helping maintain the Hive standard of hygiene for children and staff.

The role focuses on high hygiene, safety procedures, and flexible, reliable work within a busy nursery team. Training and colleague support are provided in a friendly, rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required, though experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Friendly, reliable, and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the Nursery team to ensure that high level of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the Nursery.
• Whilst cleaning, you will ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees at Midlothian Newbyres, is a 154 place nursery and offers two settings located just across the road from one another; Newbyres Hall which welcomes children under 3 and St Paul's for all children 3-5 years old. Situated in the centre of Gorebridge village, our nursery is very convenient for families and our staff team who would like to make use of the excellent public transport links, including the new Borders Railway which is just a minute's walk away. There is also a public, free-of-charge car park to the rear of the nursery.
