About the Role

East Kent Colleges Group is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our Folkestone College campus spotless and welcoming. This role is for 15 hours per week, with a pro‑rated salary of £9,855 per annum (£24,310 FTE).

Shift Details

Monday to Friday 5.30am to 8.30am

Role Summary

Your Role: Maintain the cleanliness of the college buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff. Prior experience working within health and safety guidelines is beneficial. If you're passionate about creating clean, inviting spaces, come be part of our team!

About You

We are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive, and efficient Housekeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of machinery.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Some technology/computer experience would be an advantage.
