We are looking for a reliable, hard working and caring housekeeper to join the team on Modular ward.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to carry out various tasks such as monitoring and supporting patients with their menu choices, liaising with nurses, and other multi disciplinary team members in the ward, ensuring patients are provided with supplies as needed, daily and weekly stock checking and maintaining equipment and dealing with maintenance issues. The post holder will be responsible for generally keeping the ward environment in a tidy, clean, uncluttered and safe state.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills as part of the role will be making and receiving telephone calls. The post holder must have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

A positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential, experience as a housekeeper is desirable.
