Job summary

OCS is seeking a Housekeeper in the United Kingdom (Scotland - Alloa area) to maintain high cleanliness standards across corridors, lift landings and all public walkways. You will liaise daily with the client’s operations lead, manage spillages promptly, and ensure a safe environment while customers and staff are present.

The role requires a personable, confident individual with health and safety awareness and previous front-of-house or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in corridors, lift landings, and public walkways.
• Liaise with the client’s daily operational lead to handle spillages and schedule tasks.
• Work safely around customers and staff on site.
• Refresh toilets and kitchenettes; load/unload dishwashers; respond to spillages.

About The Role:

Working Pattern: 5 variable days over 7 - 2pm 6pm

As Housekeeper you will ensure that the expected standards of cleanliness are maintained in corridors, lift landings, and all other public walkways always including all fire escapes and staff areas.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards on site, during the sites operational hours, whilst customers/stakeholders are using the areas
• To liaise with the clients daily operational lead throughout the shift, to be reactive to spillages or debris noted, and to follow an agreed schedule
• To work as safely as possible whilst members of the public of the clients team are present, to ensure a safe environment
• Duties will include but not be limited to: refreshing toilets, refreshing kitchenettes, loading/unloading dishwashers, reactive cleaning to spillages

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have right to work in the UK
• To be personable and confident
• Experience within a front of house role, or in a customer services or experience team is desirable
• Good understanding of health and safety
