Hourly Paid Lecturer - Health and Social Care

Location: Walthamstow, Greater London

Salary: £24.09 - £37.69 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.

Contract: Fixed term contract

Job Title: Lecturer - Health and Social Care

An experienced and proactive lecturer will join our Health and Social Care team. You will teach a range of Level 1-3 study programmes, including the new T Levels in Health, and adult courses such as pre-access, access and HND.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching and support learners to succeed.
  • Contribute to the teaching programme including Levels 1-5 in line with awarding body specifications.
  • Assess, track student achievement and administer courses.
  • Develop positive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Use information systems and databases to support learning.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Health, Healthcare, Nursing or Social Sciences.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve.
  • Knowledge of vocational topics such as mental health awareness or sciences.
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience of using information systems and databases.
