An exciting opportunity has arisen for an hourly paid ESOL lecturer to join our English, Maths, Creative and Digital team reporting to the Curriculum Manager: ESOL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing curriculum team.
As an hourly paid lecturer with Stockton Riverside College, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of subjects and levels, ensuring that lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess learners’ progress through examinations and continuous assessment, and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and progression. You will also contribute to the wider work of the department through participation in curriculum development, team meetings, and quality assurance activities.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised, have excellent IT and problem-solving skills, the ability to work to high levels or accuracy, have attention to detail and be willing to learn and develop.
