Hotel Receptionist – 5* Boutique Hotel

Kings Cross

The Megaro Hotel is a 49-bedroom boutique property, part of the St Pancras Hotels Group. Born in March 2007, it is a unique property combining art, luxury and exclusivity under one roof. The Megaro proudly holds the world’s largest external hotel mural, seen and acknowledged by international artists.

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist, ideally with experience using Rezlynx (PMS system) – although not essential to be considered for the position. The receptionist will be on-site 5 days a week, handling check-in & check-out, reservations via calls and emails, and maintaining fast correspondence with guests while assisting as promptly as possible.

The role reports directly to the Hotel Manager and requires superb organisation and communication skills to ensure the department is adequately briefed.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure arrivals, check-in & check-out are managed smoothly and to the highest customer service level.
  • Maintain great attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Have excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Be highly knowledgeable about the company services, standards & products.
  • Be flexible on working hours and duties.
  • Maintain guests’ records up to date and with a great eye for detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and an unforgettable experience.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Experience in hotel reception preferred; Rezlynx (PMS) experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Professional, well-presented, and passionate about 5-star service.
