A leading academic institution in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced receptionist to join its hotel team. The role offers a competitive salary between £23,742 and £25,804 per annum, with opportunities for career development. The successful candidate will excel in customer service and support a positive guest experience in a vibrant, diverse environment. Flexible working is encouraged as part of the hotel's operations.
UE03 - £23,742.00 to £25,804.00 per annum plus 15% Premium Band.
CSG / Accommodation, Catering and Events.
Location: The Scholar, The Scott and KM Hotels.
Open-ended contract - Permanent.
Full Time - 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days including weekends.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic receptionist working in one of our hotels, part of the University of Edinburgh Hospitality & Events collection, who display a positive can-do attitude and enjoy working within a diverse team. The successful candidate will be based at one of our receptions located at The Scholar; The Scott or KM Hotel & Apartments, however, flexibility is required to support our other receptions.

To succeed in this busy role, you will need strong multi-tasking skills, excellent commercial awareness, and a real eye for detail. You will have experience in a busy front-facing customer service environment; a hospitality background and deal with a multitude of customers, including students in a professional manner. Flexibility to work across weekends is also required.
