Job summary

Travelodge Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Hotel Manager to lead and develop hotel teams on a full-time basis, delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will coach staff, recruit, and ensure brand-standard food service where applicable, while driving upsell opportunities and KPI performance.

You will oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and safety, manage rosters and banking, and promote employee engagement through incentive schemes to achieve excellent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a service-led, customer-facing industry.
• Food & beverage experience is advantageous for a Bar Café hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams.
• Create personal development plans and induct new staff.
• Recruit and onboard new team members with welcoming inductions.
• Oversee food and beverage service to brand standards (Bar Café hotels).
• Drive upselling and KPI target achievement.
• Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned to company standards.

What’s it all about?

As a Hotel Manager at Travelodge Weston-super-Mare, on a Full Time basis, you would be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating the hotel teams.

Your role would also include:

• Working with team members to create personal development plans for their career growth
• Recruiting motivated team members and making sure they have a warm and welcoming induction
• Ensuring food is prepared and presented to brand standard (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Maximising food and beverage sales by cross and upselling (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Reviewing customer feedback to produce targeted action plans for improvement as required
• Making sure rooms and public areas are cleaned using company best practice
• Reporting and overseeing any repairs or maintenance needed
• Additional responsibilities include rota management, banking and health & safety
• Driving awareness and engagement for our Team Members to earn more through our incentive schemes
