Job summary

Travelodge Cambridge Newmarket Road is seeking a Hotel Manager to lead, coach and motivate hotel teams on a full-time or part-time basis. The role covers development plans, induction, brand-standard food service, upselling, customer feedback actions, cleanliness, and health & safety oversight.

You will drive team engagement and KPI targets to deliver an outstanding customer experience and business results.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a service-led customer-facing industry.
• Food & beverage experience would be advantageous for Bar Cafe hotel.
• Ability to drive KPIs and scorecard targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams.

What’s it all about?

As a Hotel Manager at Travelodge Cambridge Newmarket Road, on a Full Time or Part Time basis, you would be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating the hotel teams.

Your role would also include:

• Working with team members to create personal development plans for their career growth
• Recruiting motivated team members and making sure they have a warm and welcoming induction
• Ensuring food is prepared and presented to brand standard (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Maximising food and beverage sales by cross and upselling (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Reviewing customer feedback to produce targeted action plans for improvement as required
• Making sure rooms and public areas are cleaned using company best practice
• Reporting and overseeing any repairs or maintenance needed
• Additional responsibilities include rota management, banking and health & safety
• driving awareness and engagement for our Team Members to earn more through our incentive schemes
