Bespoke Hotels seeks a reliable Hotel Maintenance Assistant at Caledonian Hotel, Ullapool. This hands-on role covers general upkeep of the hotel, grounds, staff housing, and guest areas to a high standard.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks while supporting seasonal and on-site projects. The role requires practical maintenance experience, ability to work independently, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance and property upkeep.
• Basic plumbing skills including leaks and taps.
• Basic electrical tasks such as lighting and fault reporting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general hotel maintenance and repair work.
• Undertake basic plumbing tasks and routine checks.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and report faults.
• Paint and decorate guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain hotel grounds and gardens.
• Carry out carpentry and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with room refurbishments and on-site projects.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and safe.
