Job summary

Hosco is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Locke at Broken Wharf Millennium Bridge in London. You will support day-to-day upkeep across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment to maintain high standards of operation.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and minor building repairs, escalating specialist issues as needed. Collaboration with the Chief Engineer and hotel teams is essential for timely responses and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
• Understanding of health & safety procedures in a workplace setting.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, or large property.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repair work across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and hotel equipment to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify faults in building systems, equipment, and facilities, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and hotel teams in a timely manner, minimising disruption to operations and guest experience.
• Support the Chief Engineer with emergency repairs, fault finding, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, tools, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and operational readiness.
• Assist with refurbishment projects, room setups, furniture repairs, and general property improvements as required.
