Job summary

Premier Inn Watford Croxley Green is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests enjoy during their stay. You’ll work as part of a supportive kitchen team, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

No hotel experience required—training and ongoing support are provided to help you learn quickly and grow with Premier Inn. Permanent contract with guaranteed hours, a friendly team environment, and opportunities to develop cooking skills and customer service

Kitchen Team Member – Watford (Croxley Green) Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 contracted hours per week.

Location: 2 Ascot Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 8AD

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
