We're currently recruiting in our Sunderland A19/A1231 Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.
You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better. One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service. If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.
As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:
This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up. You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.
Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs. If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before. What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
Here you’ll learn far more than how to cook. You’ll build kitchen skills, food safety knowledge and confidence working in a team. Some people stay because they love the team. Others use the experience to move into other parts of Premier Inn. However far you want to go, we’ll help you get there.
We believe that everyone is unique and there should be no barriers to entry and no limits to ambition. We are committed to being an inclusive organisation that values diversity and welcomes your application whatever your background or situation. Under-represented groups such as women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities & members of the LGBTQIA+ community (those who identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans and non-binary or those who use a different LGBTQIA+ term), are strongly encouraged to build a career with us. Speak to us about workplace adjustments, part-time and flexible working. Where possible we will support this.
