Job summary

Premier Inn in Salisbury is seeking a Kitchen Team Member for 20 hours per week. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals that contribute to guest stays, including breakfast and dinner services. Training is provided and there are opportunities to grow within Premier Inn.

The role requires reliability, teamwork and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. This is a permanent position with guaranteed hours at a busy hotel location in Salisbury.

We're currently recruiting in our Salisbury South Milford Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Salisbury South Milford Premier Inn

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour.

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: New Petersfinger Rd, Petersfinger, Salisbury SP1 2FF.

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
