Job summary

Premier Inn in Newbury Town Centre South is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and plate meals for guests. The role involves cooking during breakfast and dinner, with shifts including evenings and weekends, and 24 contracted hours per week.

No hotel experience is required; we value reliability, teamwork and a willingness to learn. You’ll be part of a busy kitchen team that supports guests throughout their stay.

We're currently recruiting in our Newbury Town Centre South (A3339) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Hotel Kitchen Team Member – Newbury Town Centre South (A339) Premier Inn

This Isn’t Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 contracted hours per week.

Location: Newbury Town Centre South (A3339) Premier Inn. Pinchington Lane, Newbury, Berkshire

RG14 7HL

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
