Job summary

Whitbread’s Fort William location is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member for a 15-hour-per-week, fixed-term role at Premier Inn. You’ll assist in breakfast and dinner service, prep ingredients, plate meals and help maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen.

No hotel experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. You’ll join a team that works together to deliver meals guests rely on, with evenings and weekends included.

We're currently recruiting in our Fort William location. Working 15 hours per week, paying up to £14.56 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Fort William Premier Inn

This Isn’t Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £14.56 per hour

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until January 2027 – we don’t do zero‑hours contracts.

Hours: 15 contracted hours per week.

Location: Loch Iall, An Aird, Fort William, Scotland, PH33 6AN

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you’re reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
