Job summary

Premier Inn in Elgin is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests. This role is based at Elgin Premier Inn and offers a fixed-term contract with guaranteed hours.

You’ll work 25 contracted hours per week with shifts including evenings and weekends. The pay is up to £13.56 per hour, and you’ll join a team that prides itself on teamwork and delivering great meals.

Kitchen Team Member – Elgin Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.56 per hour

Contract: FTC until 31/12/2026 – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 25 contracted hours per week.

Location: Elgin Premier Inn - 15 Linkwood Way, Elgin, Moray, IV30 1HY

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant


• Barista


• Kitchen Porter


• Retail Assistant


• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
